Athena Hotel

We would like to inform you that the construction of the new Mitsis Grand Hotel will still continue during summer season 2026. The kind of construction, however, will be “lighter” with no heavy works but still the under construction building will be visible. The renovation work’s happening will be from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday and customers staying at the neighbour hotels might see or hear some work.

The hotel ATHENA is located approximately 50 m from a beach. The nearest bars and restaurants are located directly next to the building. The old town is around 6 km away. You can find a range of shops and a supermarket directly on your doorstep. There is a shuttle between the hotel and the airport (for a fee) - transfer time around 20 minutes. The air-conditioned hotel has a 24h reception (check-in is possible around the clock), a lobby bar, Wi-Fi, internet access, cash machine, showers and changing rooms, a first aid kit, parking spaces as well as a TV lounge. At the pool, deck chairs are available for free. Furthermore, you can relax outdoors on a terrace. For your entertainment, the hotel offers a library/reading room.
